Participation in other Activities

Students are regularly sent to different competitions outside the college for the participation in different competitions like Poster Presentation, quiz, elocution, personality contest etc. into various colleges, where events are conducted through sponsorship of MSBTE, University or any other recognised organisation.

Sports meet

Sports being as integral part of a student's life, the college arranges annual sports meet. The competitions in a number of indoor and outdoor games are held. Besides, the college encourages its students to participate in various sports meets like Cricket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi etc. Number of our students have been selected to represent University, District and State level sport events.

Industrial Visit

Industrial tours and visits are organized by the college to strengthen the industrial and academic interaction. The students thereby get the actual experience of industrial Pharmacy (Production, QC, Technology etc.)

Vishal Pharmautsav

This is an event which helps in breaking whatever monotony the curriculum may bring in. The eagerly looked forward event, which runs for about a week with a number of events culminating into cultural program. The event brings forth the organizational skills of students and provides them a chance to rediscover themselves. Students also regularly participate in youth festival and other intercollegiate events held from time to time.

Blood Donation Camp

Blood donation camp is organising by Vishal Junar Seva Mandal in association with Blood banks on the occasion of Birth anniversary of Hon. Shri Sharad Chandra Pawar saheb as token dedicated to Health Care Development since 1994.

Haemoglobin checking and Free distribution of Medicine Camp

Haemoglobin checking and Free distribution of Medicine Camp was organising by Vishal Junar Seva Mandal in association with Primary Health Centre on the occasion of 75th Birth anniversary of Hon. Shri Sharad Chandra Pawarsaheb.

NSS

Our First Year B. Pharm student’s undergoes visit to Primary Health Center, Ale for one day lecturer on Cleanliness &Hygiene. Our Institute yearly undertakes one nearby village for activities under “Gram Swachhata Abhiyan”.

The Institute also distributes “Jan Jagruti Patrak” to villagers every year to educate the society on the practice of Cleanliness & Hygiene.

Board of Student’s Welfare

Established Student Development Section as per the Guidelines of Board of Student’s Welfare, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune from the academic Year 2017-18.

Various Academic activities like Earn and Learn Scheme, Personality Development Scheme, Special Guidance Scheme, Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din Celebration etc. has been carried out. Students from First to Final Yr. B. Pharm. were actively participated in these activities.

Dr. Gayatri A. Lobhe has been appointed as a Student’s Welfare Officer for 3 academic years. Established Board of Student’s Welfare containing 9 members including Principal and Student’s Welfare Officer. This committee has been constituted as per the guideline given by University. Council was performed effective implementation of various activities for overall progress of the Students.
